Wingrip Horizontal Lifeline System
The FLS Wingrip® horizontal lifeline system provides safe, hands-free access for up to four workers along the entire length of a wing or fuselage. This allows inspection, servicing and maintenance of a full wingspan without the need to reposition individual pads. Quickly and easily installed, and highly portable, FLS WINGRIP® systems operate inside or outdoors and provide access to the entire spectrum of aircraft shapes and sizes. Your workers will be able to work with confidence and efficiency in any environment.
The Wingrip® Horizontal Lifeline System is a multi-user system that utilizes a number of vacuum pads with a single or pair of cables spanning between them. The system is powered by compressed air or nitrogen, without the need for batteries, electrical cables or large equipment. Being completely nonelectrical and with no metal on metal moving contact, the system is inherently safe with fuel tanks open.

The WINGRIP® vacuum pad is powered

equipment. Being completely non-electrical
and with no metal on metal moving contact,
the system is inherently safe with fuel tanks
open. If the air/nitrogen supply should fail,
an audible alarm sounds and the Wingrip®
vacuum pad will maintain a safe working
vacuum for at least 20 minutes.
Wingrip® is suitable for wet or dry surfaces
and can be used inside hangars or outside.
Installation and removal are safe and
straightforward for a single worker to carry
out, as vacuum pads weigh less than 14
pounds.
