Wingrip Barrier System
The FLS Wingrip® Barrier System provides fall restraint safety railing along the wings of an aircraft facilitating the protection of multiple workers. Quick to set up, Wingrip® barrier systems operate inside or outdoors and is applicable along the entire spectrum of aircraft shapes and sizes. For larger aircraft which require multiple maintenance activities to be performed simultaneously along the wings, Wingrip® Barrier Systems provide an ideal solution. Your workers will be able to work with confidence and efficiency.
The Wingrip® Barrier System utilizes Wingrip® vacuum pads to create anchor points for a barrier system that allows multiple workers to safely access the wing of an aircraft simultaneously. The center posts of the vacuum pads are fitted with uprights, which have side brackets to accept the horizontal poles of the barrier system. The horizontal poles telescope into position and pin lock into place making installation quick and easy.

Wingrip® Specifications
The Wingrip® vacuum pad is powered by compressed air or nitrogen, without the need for batteries, electrical cables or large equipment. The Vacuum pad is compressed against the aircraft and held in place due to the negative pressure beneath the pad. Being completely non-electrical and with no metal on metal moving contact, the system is inherently safe with fuel tanks open. If the air/nitrogen supply should fail, an audible alarm sounds and the Wingrip® vacuum pad will maintain a safe working vacuum for at least 20 minutes.
Wingrip® is suitable for wet or dry surfaces and can be used inside hangars or outside. Installation and removal are safe and straightforward for a single worker to carry out, as vacuum pads weigh less than 14 pounds.
